Public relations of Shahid Beheshti Medical University: SBMU is holding the 18th Annual Congress on “Physical Medicine, Rehabilitation and Electrodiagnosis” on Nov 26-28, 2014.
Dr. Seyed Ahmad Rais Alsadat, Director of Iranian Society of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, stated that the 18th annual congress of Physical Medicine, Rehabilitation and Electrodiagnosis will be held by Shahid Beheshti Medical University and Iranian Society of Physical Medicine, Rehabilitation & Electrodiagnosis in collaboration with departments of physical medicine, university of social welfare and rehabilitation sciences, scientific societies and institutions in Shahid Beheshti Medical University on Nov 26-28, 2014.
The faculty member of Shahid Modarres Medical Center, Dr.Rais Alsadat, referred to the main topics of this congress including rehabilitation of neurological and musculoskeletal diseases ( osteoporosis, arthritis and sports injuries), rehabilitation of cardiovascular and pulmonary diseases, rehabilitation in accidents and disasters, nursing, ultrasound of nervous system and joint and musculoskeletal system, new findings of electrodiagnosis, pain control, orthotics, prosthesis, novel technologies in rehabilitation and health evolution plan (opportunities and challenges).
Having pointed out to 210 articles submitted to this congress, he explained that participants (general practitioners, specialists in physical medicine, internists, rheumatologists, gynecologists, neurologists, neurosurgeons, anesthesiologists, pain specialists, rehabilitation science departments, basic medical science, nurses, physiotherapists, occupational therapists, speech therapists, orthopedists, technicians, …..) will receive CME credit for their attendance.
He also highlighted the presence of eminent renowned professors coming from the USA, France, Korea and Germany as the eye catching feature of this congress. He referred to Prof.Lee, Chief of the International Society of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation,Prof. Synki, Prof.Fifer, Prof.Betch, Prof. Yourtizbra and some others who are supposed to play a key role in this scientific event.
